The Tasha Smith Actors Workshop (TSAW) provides a no-holds-barred, multi-level instructional training for actors based on the Ivana Chubbuck studio technique, taught by acclaimed actress and master instructor, Tasha Smith.

Through a year-round workshop series, TSAW brings each student to the brink of creative discovery and revelation of their inherent, artistic potential. TSAW will also enable students to sharpen their talent through the process of rehearsal and presentation of assigned scenes and allow them to identify acting blocks and habits that may inhibit growth, imagination and free expression. These exercises are diagnosed and demystified by Tasha’s detailed and demonstrative critique of scene work. The scene study/critique format adapts a tried and proven methodology, resulting in the actor’s access to remarkable depth of character development, technical polish and brilliant interplay.
