Tasha Smith
Tasha Smith is a talented actress, producer and now acting
teacher. She takes students on the same passionate journey that
audiences have shared of her life and art for over a decade, offering
the essential tools that helped her to triumph over the odds. As an
actress, she received critical acclaim for her portrayal as drug
addicted Ronnie Boyce in HBOs Emmy Award-winning mini-series, "The
Corner". Tyler Perry was so impressed with her stellar work, that he
cast her to star in two of his films, including the latest,
"WHY DID I GET MARRIED?",
along-side Janet Jackson and previously in Perry’s
"DADDY’S
LITTLE GIRLS" .

Sunu Gonera
Sunu Gonera is the director of the 2007 fact-based inspirational
saga
"Pride" starring Terrance Howard and
Bernie Mac. Hailing from the townships of Zimbabwe during the time of
the Civil War, Sunu quickly worked his way up in the film industry,
and within three short years garnered several prestigious directing
awards, that were the result not just of his refreshing talent, but
also of his courage, diligence and persistence. He is currently in
development with "Church Boy," from Lionsgate. and will soon begin
work writing and directing "Bloodline" for Morgan Freeman and Lori
McCreary’s Revelations Entertainment.

Zenja Ricks
Zenja
Ricks is an Actor, Radio Personality, and Producer. With a background
in Theater and Improve, she’s been a student of Tasha Smith for 4
years. She has several Independent Films to her credit and recently
played the lead in the Showtime Short Film “Pants in the Family”.
She has an incredible passion for the craft of acting and loves
explore and share that passion with others. Now as a Coach and
Student/Teacher (she still studies with Tasha), she feels honored to
have been hand picked by Tasha as a member of the T-SAW Faculty. She
can be heard on the radio every morning from 6 to 10 at
102.3 “Radio Free” KJLH as
the Morning Show Producer. . She is recently married, to Micheal David
Ricks

Michael Ricks
Michael has made a
name for himself as an Actor, starring in numerous local theatre
productions and 20+ independent films. In 2003 Michael made his
directorial debut in his own original production, Shoplife.
In 2006 Michael was nominated for an NAACP AWARD for ‘best Stage
Design’ for the original Play "Crash Pad". Michael formed his own Production
Company aptly named In Sight Productions, and is making his
film directorial debut with the much anticipated psycho-thriller
Smokeless, a short story taken out of his original screenplay "In and Out of
Sight"; a dark psycho –thriller about a schizophrenic musical prodigy
out of the Motown era . Presently, Michael has completed and is
shopping his pilot ‘cpt’ an original drama series based on the
characters of his stage play "Shoplife".

Carnetta Jones
Turek
Carnetta Jones Turek is a professional actress and experienced
acting coach with quite and extensive resume. She has coached over 20
feature and independent films at Major studios, over 100 episodic
sitcoms and one hour dramas, 80 or more national and regional
commercials, 10 films and television voiceovers and has worked with
several celebrity clients including Macy Gray (Lackawanna Blues),
Meagan Good (Biker Boyz), Bill Bellamy (The Brothers) and Guy Torry
(The Strip) to name a few. She received a M.F.A. from UCLA in Theater
and a B.A. from Scripps College in Linguistics and Psychology. She was
also an educator at the Antelope Valley College as an Adjunct
Professor of Theatre.
